Light

Your go-to loyal friend for those average period days (but of course you’re anything but average).

Medium

When you need to bring out the big guns. Our biggest pad has got you covered whether wearing on a heavy day, overnight or for post-birth bleeding.

why better pads?

why better pads?

better for you

better pads are made from super soft, breathable, 100% organic cotton.

better pads are cleverly designed with super absorbent layers and a waterproof underlining. better pads work like disposable pads but they’re .. better.. (see what we did there)

Say goodbye to odours, discomfort and sticky pads getting stuck or twisted. better pads have two poppers which clip around the gusset of your underwear to hold them firmly and comfortably in place.

better for the planet.

Disposable pads are made up of a mix of plastics and synthetics. Plastic doesn’t biodegrade, it just breaks down into smaller parts and ends up in landfill, where the disposable products sit and release harmful gases and chemicals, polluting the surrounding air and water.

The process to make disposable is equally damaging, with plastic coming from fossil fuels.

-but- our better pads are made with the softest, purest organic cotton. Sustainably made in our factory in Turkey. The base layer of our betterpads is made with recycled polyester. For the layer to be waterproof we had to use polyester but it was incredibly important to us that we source post-consumer recycled polyester so that we can play our part in not introducing any new polyester (plastic) into creation and instead reuse what is already in existence.

better for others.

At the better company we believe, and we’re sure you’ll agree, that sanitary care is not a privilege but a basic human right.

People across our world are missing school and using unhygienic means to cope through their menstrual cycles. Our dream is to put a stop to an issue that -at its core- feels so simple. Half of the world’s population will have a period so why is menstruation not better funded and supported?

And that’s where you step in. For every better pad sold we are able to give one to a person in need.
